Our terms and policies, in plain English.
How buying and using PassTheFinal works, what we do with your data, how we use cookies, how refunds work and how we make this site usable for everyone. Each policy opens with a short summary.
Six things worth knowing before you buy.
The full policies follow below. These are the points candidates ask about most, in one place.
One payment per exam window
Each plan covers one exam window. There's no subscription to cancel.
Terms, section 04Access until your exam date
Your study material stays available until the exam you're preparing for.
Terms, section 0414 days to change your mind
Most purchases can be cancelled within 14 days. Starting early affects that right, and we'll ask you first at checkout.
Refund PolicyCard details stay with the payment provider
Payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
Privacy Policy, section 02Your answers stay private
We won't publish or share your answers without your permission, and never with your name.
Privacy Policy, section 03Independent, with no promised results
We're not affiliated with CFA Institute, and no preparation provider can promise an exam result.
Terms, section 07- These terms apply when you buy or use a PassTheFinal plan.
- You pay once per exam window, and access lasts until your exam date.
- Your access is for you alone. Please don't share your login or our material.
- We're independent of CFA Institute, and we don't promise exam results.

What these terms cover
These terms apply when you buy or use a PassTheFinal plan: Self-Study, Mock Grading or the Complete Programme, and any marked mock you add. They also apply to the free marked essay, where relevant. The Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Refund Policy on this page form part of these terms.

- You pay when you buy. [CONFIRM: instalment option for the Complete Programme, and its terms]

Your plan and your access
Each plan covers one exam window: the CFA® Program Level III exam you are preparing for. Access to the learning platform lasts until your exam date [CONFIRM: exactly when access ends]. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
Plans cover the Level III core curriculum and the Portfolio Management pathway. The Private Wealth and Private Markets pathways are not covered yet. [CONFIRM: what is available at purchase and what is released later]
Marking and mentorship
Marked mocks are marked by a CFA® charterholder, with written feedback, within [CONFIRM: turnaround] of receiving your answers. Complete Programme sessions and calls take place by video at times we publish in advance. [CONFIRM: what happens if you miss a session or call]
Marks and feedback are our professional judgement against our own marking guide. They are not CFA Institute marks and they don't predict your exam result.
Using our material
Our notes, questions, mocks and feedback are protected by copyright. When you buy a plan, you receive a personal licence to use them for your own study while your access lasts.
Please don't share your login, or copy, resell, publish or upload our material elsewhere, including to AI tools. If you do, we may end your access.
Independence and exam results
PassTheFinal is an independent education provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by CFA Institute. CFA® and Chartered Financial Analyst® are registered trademarks owned by CFA Institute.
Our material complements the official curriculum; it doesn't replace it. No preparation provider can promise an exam result, and we don't. Registering for your exam, and following CFA Institute's rules, remain your responsibility.
Corrections and changes
If we find an error in our material, we correct it and record the change. If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and email existing customers before the change affects a plan they've already bought.

Your 14 days to cancel

Study material

Marking and mentorship
Marking and mentorship are services. If you ask us to start within the 14 days and then cancel, we'll refund you, less a fair amount for what we've already provided, such as mocks already marked or sessions already held. [CONFIRM: how the deduction is calculated]
Once a service has been provided in full, you can no longer cancel it.
Plans that combine both
The Complete Programme, and Self-Study bought with Mock Grading, include study material and services. [CONFIRM: how a cancellation is split between the two]
How to cancel
Email [CONFIRM: contact email] with your name, your order number and a clear statement that you want to cancel. We'll confirm by email.

We refund you within 14 days of your cancellation, to your original payment method, through [CONFIRM: payment provider]. We don't charge a fee for refunds.
After 14 days
[CONFIRM: whether any refunds are offered after 14 days]
Whenever you bought, if something we provide is faulty or not as described, tell us and we'll put it right, or refund you where the law requires.
If your exam plans change
Each plan is sold for one exam window. [CONFIRM: whether a plan can move to a later window if you change or miss your exam]
